What is Reputation?

Reputation, or simply Rep, is a ranking system used to acknowledge users that you have been of benefit to the site by either answering someones question, being helpful, or typing up meaningful posts. Of course, it can be used for other reasons, such as if their listening to a song you like, you can Rep+ them.

Sounds cool, but how do I 'spread the rep'?

Reputation is spread by clicking the little Heart icon underneath someones Avatar. A pop-up box will then appear, prompting you to either give positive feedback or negative feedback (Rep+ or Rep-). Comments are completely optional.

Sweet! But who gave me rep?

If you want to see who's given you Rep and for what reason, head on over to the Reputation Section of your User CP.


Hmm, fair enough; but what If I want to rep the user a little more than usual?

You can only Rep+/- someone on a post once. Also, you cannot Rep+/- the same person twice in a row; try spread it around a bit before Repping someone again.


Well my reputation is extremely low; how can I raise it?

You can't. Just try put more detail and effort into your posts, and help out around the site a bit; this will usually be noticed and someone will probably rep you. But don't try and give out to a member for breaking the rules, that's the staff's job. You'll just get yourself NegaRepped.
